Our Holiday catalog is arriving in mailboxes this week, and I hope you take your time with it. Putting it together is always a little bittersweet for me, because the studio makes far more than one book can hold. Every season there are pieces I love that simply don't fit on the page.
So here are some of them, straight from the studio shelves. These are my picks, the ones I would hate for you to miss just because they weren't in print.
Garden Party Necklace
Niobium butterflies, dragonflies and birds cascade together with a whole garden's worth of gemstones. Subtle it is not, and that is exactly why I love it.
Delicate Margo Earrings
Two freeform pearls dangle from fine gold hooks, each curve unplanned and completely its own. They don't match; they harmonize, the way nature does it.
Dragonfly Dreams Earrings
The dragonfly is a symbol of courage, strength and happiness, and these carry some of our most elaborate detailing: vibrant color, intricate metalwork, and careful hand linking and wiring.
Sandra Earrings and Necklace
Laser-etched sand dollars topped with a tiny pearl, and a slender chain of pearl, starfish and sand dollar charms to match. Wear the necklace on its own or layer it with your favorites.
Esme Earrings, garnet
A garnet sits at the center of rose-swirled niobium and filigree vines, so you get a little color close to your face without any fuss. They swing softly when you move, which is exactly how I like an earring to wear.
Esme Pendant Necklace, garnet
If you love the earrings, the pendant carries the same garnet inside a tiny niobium bloom with vine cutouts, on a gold chain. It is quiet enough for every day and still catches the eye.
Climbing Rose Earrings, vintage burgundy
Petals and vines swirl through golden filigree in a deep vintage burgundy. They swing and they shine, and I think they are just dramatic enough.
Riverwind Earrings, berry
Riverwind is one of my everyday pairs. Waves of berry color meet leaves on the vine, and a single crystal bead at the top adds a small spark of light.
Ariel Earrings, silver or gold
These always look to me like something plucked off the ocean floor. They come in both silver and gold, so they sit happily with whatever you already wear.
Sea Treasure Charm Necklace, shore blue
A gold chain carries everything the tide brought in: a starfish, a seahorse, a mermaid tail, shells and pearls. It is a wonderful gift for anyone who misses the coast.
Cora Pearl Necklace, silver and white
Freshwater pearls dangle from an airy chain, and it looks as right with a sweatshirt on errand day as with a little black dress. Wear it alone or layer it with a longer piece.
Cora Pearl Bracelet, cranberry
The cranberry version trades the pearls for crystals and crystal pearls on the same airy chain. It is a small, warm pop of color for the season.
Laurel Cuff, gold
Laser-etched leaves wrap your wrist like a botanical wreath. It has real dimension, and it is lovely with a sweater sleeve pushed up.
Roman Cuff Bracelet, gold
Three words, Peace, Love, Joy, run around the cuff with our signature leaf. It was inspired by the strength and resilience of the women who wear our jewelry, which makes it one of the gifts I feel best about giving.
The catalog is a beautiful place to start, and there is always more on the shelf. When you've turned the last page, come see the rest of my favorites in Holly's Favorites.
