Not a good substitute for HY's Monaco earrings
"I only bought these because HY's Monaco earrings were no longer on offer. What I really wanted was a 2nd pair of the Monaco earrings (in Purple/Gold), but by the time I figured out just how much I love the Monaco design (which I have in Blue/Silver), there were no more Monaco earrings to be had on the website. So I bought the Peach/Gold Monte Carlo earrings instead, thinking these would be an OK substitute. They are not. They are much heavier than the Monaco earrings, and the larger, single fan-shaped triangle styling is nowhere near as flattering a look on me (doesn't pair as well with glasses). So I shall be returning these. But my disappointment has nothing to do with the quality or design of the Monte Carlo earrings, which other reviewers justly rave about. They just don't work for me."
