ARCATA -- Newly crowned Miss America Laura Kaeppeler joined Holly Yashi Design on April 4 in celebrating its 20th year in business with Seebeck Gallery, one of its retailers. Festivities included a silent auction benefiting the Miss America Organization Scholarship fund.

Kaeppeler wore Holly Yashi's Jamilla earrings, posed for photographs, took questions about her pageant experience as well as her scholarship organization.

Holly Yashi Design in Arcata has been designing and manufacturing handmade jewelry for more than 30 years.
