Holly Yashi founders talk at Historical Society program
November 2019
Holly Hosterman and Paul “Yashi” Lubitz, the creative team and founders of Holly Yashi, an established Humboldt County jewelry business, will present “The History of Holly Yashi” on Saturday at 1 p.m., in the first-floor conference room of the Humboldt County Library. 1313 Third Street, Eureka. Admission to this Humboldt County Historical Society-sponsored program is free, and everyone is invited.
During their talk, Hosterman and Lubitz will share stories and lessons learned from their nearly 40 years of business, including the history of Holly Yashi’s beginnings, growth, innovations and industry developments. They will also detail where the company is now, and how they have been able to keep it local for their entire history. Come see a live demonstration of their signature metal-coloring technique, as well as a short video of how a piece of jewelry is made from start to finish, all under one roof in Arcata.
